Job posted
Coming out of lurkdom to mention that we have a creative e-learning specialist position posted.
This is not web design per se. The job is about developing online courses, publishing these on a learning management system site and supporting the employee learners.
If you know of someone with these skills, please pass along.

State of the Union: a discussion of the Madison FOSS community
PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN TIME!
If you're seeing this in a group that you think isn't Linux related, I disagree in some way. Typically I am cautious to invite a subset of groups to meetings. However, this is a very important meeting. There are some very basic infrastructure questions like "how long is a president president for" and "when are elections" that currently have no answers. I want answers to these mundane questions, but also, I want to think big picture. Can MadLUG be doing more to help schools and non-profits? Is it proper for MadLUG to engage in non-Linux libre software (FOSS) promotion? What sort of presentation overlap do we have with LOPSA?
