SilverStripe CMS is built on this powerful, and soon standalone framework that gives developers complete flexibility of design and feature set. Eric Landmann will present on Magento, a powerful, open-source, php-based e-commerce platform that has gained huge market momentum. Magento has a huge standard feature set, yet is flexible and extensible, allowing for customization while retaining the ability to easily upgrade. We will cover front-end and back-end features and operations, and talk about the codebase structure and customization. Eric's is with Landmann InterActive, a web development company specializing in CMS and e-commerce sites.

DrupalCampWI was well attended with well over a hundred participants. There were a number of excellent sessions  many of which were recorded for archival purposes.

This month, in anticipation of DrupalCampWI, we'll be getting together at the Memorial Union on campus (800 Langdon St). We'll be inside, overlooking the Terrace at the Lakeside Cafe (which has power, and if you've registered for DrupalCampWI we'll have a temporary guest ID for wifi access). Come out to get help installing a drupal stack on your laptop in preparation for Camp tomorrow, and to meet fellow Campers.
